Osbrink left Grubb & Ellis in June as president of the Transaction Services Group and joins Sperry Van Ness as president of Southern California, Arizona and Oregon and will join the board of advisors. Osbrink also becomes a principal in the brokerage entity and a vice president for Guardian, as well as a member of its management team. Tom Brenneke, Guardian's president, will serve as CEO of the franchise and is also a member of the Sperry Van Ness board of advisors.

Osbrink joined Grubb & Ellis in 1988 and served as senior vice president and sales manager until 1996. Osbrink then became regional managing director of the company's five Los Angeles County offices from 1996-2000, where he successfully doubled revenue by reorganizing management and created a new business plan. The offices were recognized as the top region in the company in 1998. In 2000, Osbrink took over the entire Southwest region, covering Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico and after three years added management responsibilities for the Western region. In 2004, Osbrink was named president, transaction services, and was responsible for brokerage operations nationwide. He was Co-CEO of the company from 2004-2006. Osbrink left the company in June 2008 as president of the Transaction Services Group.

Before joining Grubb & Ellis, Osbrink served as a vice president with the Irvine Company and vice president and general manager of Cushman & Wakefield. He currently sits on the advisory board for the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California and as a former player is the president of the school's basketball alumni group.
