A Four Seasons employee for more than 16 years, Beverly Magee is the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the Seattle hotel. In her role, Magee oversees the hotel's sales, catering and revenue management staff, manages the external public relations team and heads up all marketing efforts. She is looking forward to reintroducing the brand into the Seattle community.
Magee began her career with Four Seasons in 1987 at Four Seasons Hotel Houston, where she worked in operations before moving into sales and marketing. Magee's previous sales accomplishments have even been awarded Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts President's Club recognition in 1997, 1999 and 2000. Upon transferring to Four Seasons Olympic Hotel in Seattle in 1998, she fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. She decided to stay in Seattle when Fairmont Hotels & Resorts took over The Olympic and Four Seasons left the city. Her sales and marketing efforts even helped The Olympic win Fairmont Hotels & Resorts' coveted Hotel of the Year Award in 2006. As Four Seasons returns just a few years later, Magee is thrilled to rejoin the company and help establish the iconic brand's stylish new waterfront address.
Magee intends to focus her marketing efforts on the new hotel's more modern look, improved technology, luxurious destination spa and water-view ballroom, but experience has shown her that what brings guests back is the innumerable personalized services and touches for which Four Seasons is renowned, from mending a garment to securing coveted dinner reservations on short notice. It is the commitment to service from the hotel staff that truly makes the hotel unique and brings guests back time after time.
Magee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communications from the University of Texas in Austin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their twin girls.
