WELCHES, ORE. -- September 2, 2008 -- Coastal Hotel Group announces the appointment of Daniel Krucke as director of food and beverage for The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a premier Oregon golf and meeting resort located at the western base of Mt. Hood, just outside Portland, Ore. Krucke will oversee all aspects of food and beverage, from conception to service in his new role.

Prior to his position at The Resort, Krucke served as the director of food and beverage for Embassy Suites Hotels in 2007, and in 2006 he held the position of director of catering at the Benson Hotel. From 2001-2005 Krucke served as the director of food and beverage at the Riverside Golf and Country Club in Portland, Ore., and he spent three years as a restaurant manager for McCormick and Schmick's Restaurant Group. Krucke earned his Culinary Arts Degree from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland in 1996.

Krucke enjoys camping, gardening, fishing and hiking in his free time. He resides in Vancouver, Wash. with his wife and two children.
