A 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Mendonca brings a wealth of knowledge in resort management and a solid background in the Los Cabos market to the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort & Spa. He previously served as general manager of the Sheraton Porto Alegre in southern Brazil. Mendonca was drawn to the hospitality industry at the young age of sixteen, when he took his first job at the Sheraton in Rio de Janeiro. He has since held numerous management positions at resorts around the world, including properties in Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Chile. This marks Mendonca's return to a Starwood resort in the Los Cabos area, where from 2000 to 2004 he served as Operations Manager and Hotel Manager at the Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos.

Aguado joins the resort with extensive international sales experience. He previously served as the corporate director of sales hospitality at the PUNTACANA Resort and Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. His career has included management positions with a number of resorts in Dubai, U.A.E. and with the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita in Nayarit, Mexico.
